From: MARK TRAMO To: David Sha endonk , Yael Swerdlow Bcc: ' ' Subject: To Maestro/Contact CI re: Grant Proposal for Theratainment in Infusion and Hemodialysis Centers Date: Thu, 24 Aug 2017 22:23:15 +0000 Attachments: MaestroGrant.InfusionAndHemodialysis20170823a.doc Dear David & Yael, Please find attached The Institute for Music & Brain Science's Executive Summary re: Grant Proposal for Theratainment in Infusion and Hemodialysis Centers. As with the Executive Summary for Theratainment in Neurorehabilitation I sent you last week, this proposal is in MS Word .doc file format (instead of PDF) so that you can edit and optimize the proposal for your venture partners. As we discussed at our last meeting, the theratainment approach to the population of patients tethered to catheters for hours on end is broader than the approach to the population of patients engaged in neurorehabilitation. For the former, I envision a palette of Arts & Entertainment options, including the patient- controlled auditory environments Dr Krause and I have previously proposed for cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy as well as passive multimodal and interactive environments. For neurorehab patients, interactive VR is essential. Thank you again for your enthusiasm and creativity in pursuing these projects with my colleagues and me. Adding up the numbers in the two proposals, it's astonishing how many patients we could help in one year!
