After it was clear that the door seal had malfunctioned over the ocean at 43,000 feet and at 7pm eastern time . We knew we had a serious problem, I waited for a few minutes to come forward to give you guys time . The noise was deafening. We had not begun descent and While Larry had on his oxygen mask DAVE DID NOT . ! When I entered holding my ears - Larry was yelling at the top of his lungs , trying to be heard over the roar. Passengers freaking out . !! . On landing It was also clear that Dave was suffering a severe cold/ sinus something. Unexplainable as I have a strict policy re traveling, with guests , staff or with anyone who has a cold .
