Usually the Russia authorities do not transfer visas but rather require to apply for a new visa but we can inquire as they made a few exceptions in the past. It will also depend which consulate has issued the 2018 visa. Due to the new law which requires an endorsement on the back of the passport stating he is a Registered Sex Offender, he had to apply for a new passport. We have the new passport and now merely wish to reissue the valid Russian Visa...do you know if this is possible? The Russian Visa is not due to expire until June 24, 2021. It was issued on June 25, 2018. Please advise. I have a specific question however...the person who wants this Russian Visa is a Registered Sex Offender. Is there anything he must do differently or in conjunction with this paperwork to receive a Russian Visa? Please let me know as soon as possible.
