RO Plant LSI After receiving your approval to replace the existing Wheatly High Pressure pump with the TSG recommended New Dan Foss pump, motor and drive, two issues became apparent. 1. TSG would 140t break out there material cost of 55K, rough estimate on my behalf indicated they where going to make 10-15K on Material alone. 2. More importantly Patrick voiced concern regarding the Dan Foss Pump and felt it was not durable enough for our application. New Wheatley HP pump has been sourced Pricing should be on my desk by Tuesday next week, I will forward this to you once reviewed and confirmed. Estimated lead-time 10-12 weeks. Pre and Post Water Treatment functions are either, not functioning, disconnected or have no chemicals to operate. Hence high membrane pressures and high PH levels in water. Parts and chemicals have been sourced and once on Island, these functions will be online again. There is also a need to do a membrane service on the plant This will help lower high membrane pressures and reduce wear on the existing pump. I expect to have parts list by Thursday at the latest, to perform this service. In 2014 the panel that houses the HP Pump Drive and Booster pump drive was flooded with water, probably because the waterproof panel door was left open. This Panel has signs of corrosion it will need to be replaced. I will concentrate on this once we have the plant fully operational. The PLC will be wiped of its program, then reprogrammed, Too many people who think they know what they are doing have accessed this program. I have great concerns parameters have been change that could damage newly install HP pump. I have the Person and Program to do this, he installed the original PLC on existing plant. The Sea Water intake underneath the dock is going to be inspected this weekend, by all accounts it appears it needs to be replaced. Will advise next week. I plan to install nest cameras in this location, and doors will be locked, access will be limited. EFTA00583547 I have a Technician lined up to service plant and to install new HP Pump once on island. At the same time he will refresh Smiley and Myself on the operation of the plant. I would prefer to discuss this with you when I see you next. EFTA00583548
