9 East 71st street daily report 6/11/13 • Picture light for front hall arrived at 71,, street waiting for approval to proceed with ostroff electrical installation. • Working on the removal of the old ABB 1" floor Kitchen exhaust fan Variable Frequency drive (VFD) in the Eith fl mechanical equipment room. Replacing the unit with the ABB ACS -150 .4kw Shut of main electric power to the fl Kitchen Exhaust & also Cellar Catering Kitchen Exhaust .When I turned back on Main power to Existing catering kitchen VFD that was installed 2to 3 years ago the unit shorted out. This should not happen I contacted ABB to see if this is under Warranty .1 not I will have order a new unit to install. EFTA00584251
