Persons scheduled for skin testing should not take antihistamines or medications containing them for at
least 3 but preferably 5 days before being tested. Antihistamines are often found in cold or allergy
medicines. You may continue to take decongestants. mucus thinners and most nasal sprays.
YOU MUST CONTINUE TO TAKE ASTHMA MEDICATIONS
AND DRUGS FOR ALL OTHER MEDICAL CONDITIONS.
