When we checked with Judge Smith's JA on April 18, 2016, we were informed that because the eCourtcsy filing was not timely, we were not on the docket for April 20, 2016. Thank you for agreeing to voluntarily reschedule so that Jack Goldberger and I would not have to travel to Miami only to learn that the Judge would not hear us. When I informed Mr. Epstein of the situation, he asked that I inform you that he still believes that the issues between himself and Mr. Brunel would be best resolved with a face-to-face meeting between Mr. Epstein and Mr. Brunel. While we do not believe that Mr. Epstein owes any legal obligation to Mr. Brunel, he does believe that he has an obligation as a friend and he would very much like to resolve any obstacles to the continuation of their friendship. Please transmit this request for a personal meeting to Mr. Brunel, and in order to afford time for the meeting to take place, may I suggest that we look for a hearing date sometime in July, 2016.
