VEHICLE ARMORING CONTRACT February 5, 2016 Richard Kahn Manhattan Armor ■ CUSTOMER SUPPLIED GM LWB SUV ♦•♦ TECHNICAL & FINANCIAL PROPOSAL Ref.No:020516JJRK001 Ballistic Defeat Specifications: NIJ IIIA BR4 Ultra Light Weight Armor Package • .357 Magnum (full metal jacket, coned bullet, or soft core). 10.2 g. 425 ms / 158gr. 1450 fps • 9mm Luger (full metal jacket, round nose or soft core), 8 g.. 381 ms / 124gr. 1250 fps, • .44 Magnum (Full metal jacket, flat nose, or soft core), 15.6 g, 460 ms / 240gr 1510 fps General Armoring Specifications: 1) Transparent Armor (Glass areas): Replace all OEM glass: (windshield, front and rear doors, rear quarter panel and tail gate). Glass will be custom manufactured by AGP Glass, (www.agpglass.com) Glass will be removed and replaced with 17 mm (+1- 5%) curved light weight bullet-resistant transparent armor multi- layer glass with polycarbonate inner layer to prevent spalling upon ballistic impact. The transparent armor will be contoured to retain the appearance of the original glass. All glass will have the following optional technologies: AGP Steel Plus Over Lap protection, Edge Plus finishing, to be tinted as follows, rear window and back doors medium grey, front doors medium grey, windscreen OEM. (unless specified differently) 2) Body: All doors will be lined with Armor Shield thermo formable 7/32^d 12 ply ballistic aramid panels to the defined defeat of NIJIIA. Rear quarter panels and lower tail gate to be lined with same. All pillars (A/B/C) will be protected with Armor Shield thermo formable 3/161h ballistic aramid panels. 3) Roof will be protected with Armor Shield thermo formable 3/16th ballistic aramid panels. Sunroof will be protected using 15mm AGP ballistic insert and remain functional, Ref. Original lifts will be replaced with Hoerbiger Hydraulic units in all 4 doors. 6) Rear tail gate glass: will be replaced with 17mm AGP ballistic glass. Motorized shocks will be removed and replaced with Bansbach gas springs to accommodate the new weight of tail gate. 7) Siren / Strobe lights / PA System included. Colors of lights to be determined. 2 grille, 2 rear strobes. (additional lighting and emergency equipment available upon request.) All equipment by Federal Signal. 8) Run flat inserts on all 4 wheels ARMOR CUSTOMER SUPPLIED GM FULL SIZED SUV $130,000 NYC 8.875% SALES TAX TO BE COLLECTED upon completion, unless proof of export or resale provided OPTIONS : A separate work order will be provided for all requested options. Delivery/Shipping Schedule: Ballistic glass fabrication will require 10 —12 weeks. Glass will be ordered after funding and signed confirmation of desired tint levels and final design. Actual vehicle up armoring will require 8 -10 weeks. General Terms and Conditions: Payment: 60% at signing $72,000 25% receiving vehicle into shop $30,000 15% upon completion $18,000 Warranty: Manhattan Armor will extend a 24 month warranty on its armor up-fitting. Testing: All ballistic materials are independently tested. Inspection: We welcome inspections of the facilities or work in progress is welcome, prior to, during or upon completion of the contract.
