Brazil Police Say.
By Francisco Marcelino and Julia Leite
(Bloomberg) --
BTG Pactual Group's CEO Andre Esteves was arrested on Wednesday as part the growing corruption scandal
that has already ensnared Brazil's biggest builders and the state-run oil giant Petroleo Brasileiro SA, police said.
Folha de S.Paulo reported the arrest earlier today. The government's leader in the Senate Delcidio Amaral was
also arrested, a press official for the federal police in Sao Paulo said by phone.
The official didn't provide the reasons for Esteves's arrest. BTG's press office couldn't immediately comment.
