From: To: "Je vacation" alla> Subject: Apu GIV upgrade Date: Mon, 22 Apr 2013 16:49:02 +0000 Importance: Normal Jeffrey, Rusty is working on GIV type rating options if we agree to cockpit upgrade, should have answer in couple of hours. -inspections are complete, only remaining open inspection item is flap track micrometer measurements to verily they are in limits, since flaps are removed. -we have several items we will address for repair such as: -nose of radome requires honeycomb repair on tip of radome, will be fixed locally. -auto throttle rigging throttle split -air pressure High pressure inlet guide vane adjustment, air cycle machine item. -DC voltage panel -new flap actuator install. Separate note: we need to install the loaner APU for engine runs and continued trouble shooting on engines. Do you approve of APU upgrade so I may sign contract for upgrade so APU loaner could be installed today? Darren and Dennis will modify contract.
