You can use it to save audio from individual applications like Safari or Skype, hardware audio devices like microphones or mixers, and even the entire system audio output. If you can hear it on your Mac, Audio Hijack can record it. For version 3, we thoughtfully examined and considered every aspect of our previous Audio Hijack products. The update incorporates over a decade's worth of experience and feedback to improve the process of recording and enhancing audio. The most visible change is Audio Hijack's new interface. Its pipeline-style view shows exactly how audio flows and makes Audio Hijack 3 a snap to learn. Different types of Blocks bring in audio from application and hardware sources, adjust it with audio effects, then record it and send it out to speakers.
