From: To: "Jeffrey E." <jeevacation®gmail.com> Subject: Re: Thank you, Date: Wed, 25 May 2016 13:38:54 +0000 Dear Jeffrey, Thank you very much for your quick reply. I highly appreciate it. I am well, thank you. I hope that also you are well (?) I have one question, and if you have the time / would be willing to give me some advice, I would be more than grateful. If not, please ignore the bellow. Background: After having visited Africa this spring, and after several in-depth conversations concerning skill shortages and international companies' recruitment challenges when expanding over the African continent with professor (vice president of the African Development Bank, former Dean of Wits Business School in South Africa, investor, fellow at Oxford I would then be able to use this database to help companies find the talent they need. I will try to make the database 'sticky' though Apps, games, quizzes, etc. Question: I am considering spending the summer travelling to a few African countries to meet managers at international companies in order to 'collect' information of what talent/ branding/ recruitment challenges they face. However, before making this investment, may I kindly ask, do you think this is an idea worth while trying? I have great respect to you; any advice, recommendations, or comments, would be highly, highly appreciated. Furthermore, if you believe that this is an endeavour worth while trying, would you recommend me to try to corporate with a larger company? (Either a recruitment company, branding company, or a social media company?) Linkedln is not yet big in Africa. Once again, I am sorry if I am bothering you. Kind regards from a rainy Oxford! EFTA00640241 I have hesitated to reach out to you earlier (as I might be bothering you). However, if you have the, and is willing to speak with me, may I call you at some point? Also, may I ask, do you know Bob Wigley? (I am meeting him in a couple of weeks) I am sorry if I am bothering you, and, as always, I do understand if you do not have the time to speak with me. I am sorry to bother you but I am kindly wondering if I may disturb you with two questions; thus, would you have the time to either meet me or talk with me on Skype (or on the phone) at any point? I do know that your time is precious and I of course understand if this is not possible. Once again, thank you for a very nice and memorable evening last night.
