I have speculated about what it must feel like to have been the young lacrosse player at Duke who was falsely accused of rape. Now I have experienced being falsely accused of that heinous crime. No, I haven't been charged with any crime. Nor will I be. But in an effort to extort a settlement based on a wacko law suit filed against the U.S. government, a woman has publically accused many leading world figures — including former president Bill Clinton, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former senate majority leader George Mitchel, Prince Andrew of Great Britain - of having sex with her while she was below the age of 18. EFTA00642262 Now I have made it on to that fantasy list. She has accused us of performing these sex acts on an airplane, a Caribbean Island, a New Mexico ranch and a Palm Beach mansion. Needless to say, I have never met this woman, and I've never had sex with an underage person (even when I was underage). No one will believe her story once they see proof that I was never even at the locations during the relevant periods of time. I was once on the island for a day with my wife and daughter, from whom I was never apart. Nor was I ever on the airplane with any young girls, as a perusal of the manifest will demonstrate beyond any doubt. But some people will believe the charge, because they are unable to accept the reality that women and men sometimes lie about these matters. In this case, the lie has been perpetuated by two men and a woman. The two men are lawyers who engaged in unethical conduct by filing such salacious charges without even a minimum of investigation, which would have conclusively established that the charges could not possibly be true. The woman, who is now in her 30's and living in Australia, is seeking a mega financial settlement from a billionaire who she claims had sex with her before she turned 18. Her lawsuit efforts have thus far failed and in an effort to turn up the pressure, she has included a long list of famous people among those she claims to have serviced years ago. Virtually everyone but President Obama has made it on to her fantasy hit list. When it is ultimately proved that she deliberately concocted these false charges, I hope she and her lawyers will face consequences for their illegal and unethical actions in attempting to sully reputations without any investigation or due diligence. Every feminist, indeed everyone who cares deeply about preventing and punishing sexual assaults, should be outraged at this woman and her sleazy lawyers, who put profit before proof and greed before responsibility. There are several types of possibly false charges when it comes to sexual assault. In the "Rashamon" type case, the woman and the man honestly recall the events differently: she knows that the sex was unwelcome, while he believes it was. In the "mistaken identity" type case, the woman was undoubtedly raped but she misidentifies her rapist. In the "made up" case — the rarest but most disturbing --- the woman makes up the entire account against an entirely innocent target in order to secure some benefit. This case fits squarely into this third category. EFTA00642263 Women who make up rape stories, and the lawyers who help them, do enormous damage both to individual victims of rape and to broad based efforts to prevent and punish this heinous crime. That is why I am fighting back with all the resources I can muster. I am filing disbarment charges against the lawyers; defamation charges against both the lawyers and the woman if they repeat their lies outside the courtroom; and criminal charges for knowingly filing a false report, if the woman accepts my challenge to file criminal rape charges against me. I am now publically accusing the lawyers of unethical conduct and the woman of making up an entirely false story about me. In doing so, I am deliberately opening myself up to defamation charges. I challenge them to sue me. I welcome the opportunity to test their false accusations in a court of law. Justice Louis Brandeis once observed "sunlight is the best disinfectant". I am exposing these deliberately false charges to the sunlight of counter legal proceeding. Let the evidence be exposed. I have nothing to fear.
