Gulfstream Palm Beach and Gulfstream Westfield Mass can accomplish Cockpit upgrade. If we elect to use Gulfstream in Palm Beach for Cockpit upgrade, Plane Perfect interior in Palm Beach is a subcontractor who Gulfstream uses for interior work. Gulfstream will quote the work and "try" to include a 15% price increase since Gulfstram will offer a 2 year warranty with Gulfstream Log book entry. If we go direct with Plane Perfect and use Jet Aviation's hanger in Palm Bch for install, we would save the 15% price increase but loose 3 weeks, since no interior work will be accomplished. We will have the same issue having Eric's shop do the work if we elect to use Gulfstream in Westfield MA accomplish cockpit upgrade, I plan to demand that interior work will be invoiced direct to us and not thru Gulfstream. We know Eric's quality of work and his familiarity with Eves/Pinto's stitching requirement, I'm not sure if Plane Perfect can meet Eric's Quality, however Plane Perfect does good work, Plane Perfect estimated 10 to 12 week down time, and Eric is estimating 6 to 8 weeks down time,. I'll request a quote from Plane Perfect to compare with Eric's numbers. We should order fabrics and carpet soon, lead times on selected material could be lengthy. Gulfstream IV Interior Schedule and Completion date estimates: April 1st start Prebuy Gulfstream Palm Beach (18 working day down time). April 26th Completion of pre buy and working items found during prebuy. April 29th Fly GIV to Wilmington DE for Closing. April 29th after closing Fly GIV to Westfield MA to start Cockpit upgrade Down time is: (20 working days). April 30th Eric Roth removes interior while Cockpit work is being completed. May 28th Cockpit upgrade is completed, conduct test flight. (2 days to repair items). May 30th Fly GIV to Dallas for Paint input, Down time (12 working days). June 18th Fly GIV to Islip NY for interior installation. June 28th GIV in Service,. This is based on 9 Weeks interior work. GIV initial training, Dallas and Morristown NJ (21 days length).
