However the World Bank connection is an important one where you could really help them and help the Foundation connect with them. I feel like it is a bit tragic for Microsoft that Ballmer and Sinofsky didn't add up well but I am not blaming anyone. Steve stayed to do critical critical work that give the company a chance for a strong renewal. He showed a lot of patience and unbelievably dedicated work in all his work but particularly his work on Windows. I am very hopeful that he and I get to work together on projects in the future — whether it is technology business or development related. I would also like to touch base with Steve face to face sometime in the weeks ahead. My family is headed out to live in Africa for 3 weeks on December 6 so it might be when I get back in early January. I hope he knows he has all my respect.
