Under the sea
OpenROV is a low-cost, open source robot
designed to make underwater exploration
possible for everyone. About the size of a
shoebox, the compact robot can house a
camera and explore almost any watery space,
from your bathtub to the ocean. Whether you're
a maker, hobbyist, or scientist, the OpenROV
is sure to unlock your inner Jules Verne.

What happens in the year 2012 when a newly-
unemployed editorial team bands together for
one last project? Tomorrow Magazine, that's
what! Tomorrow will be the magazine these
writers and designers always dreamed of
making, featuring stories about opportunity,
breaking from the status quo, and what comes
next. Sounds appropriate!

One small step
With the fledgling commercial space industry
making major strides, a fundamental problem
for space travel remains in need of a better
solution: the space suit. Artist Ted Southern
has teamed up with veteran space suit
engineer Nikolay Moiseev to develop an
inexpensive, lightweight suit capable of
providing astronauts with unprecedented
mobility. Bulky space suits of yore are about to
take a giant leap forward.
