Dear Jeffrey,
I write to introduce myself and my organization.
I used to work at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and most recently; I was a
founding member of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
At JDRF (www.jdrf.org), I managed the international grants portfolio as their National Director and
COO of Research, as well as their patient/stakeholder program. I went to PCORI in Washington, DC
to help startup the institute (www.pcori.org). At PCORI, I set up the organization strategic plan, policies
and procedures, standard operating precedes, grants and program management, IT, and their
patients/stakeholder program.
I recently joined Leidos Health to develop a consulting practice to support organization like yours - see
attached.
I would welcome the opportunity to hear more about your organization so we may explore
opportunities to work together. I am in NYC next week and I can stop by anytime. Next Tu,
April 29, there will be a couple of Leidos Health Scientists with me, and if you have time, we
welcome the opportunity to talk to you in person.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you/Gracias,
Martin
