(Currently signatories for US Trust are LDB/DRB and RL) Ralph can be a trustee but won't have any banking authority unless he wishes to reinstate himself. I am happy to talk to Ralph on this. Cc: Eileen Alexanderson; Heather Gray; Richard Joslin Subject: LDB Foundation Hi Jeffrey, EFTA00665354 Rich just came in to find out the status of Ralph's resignation as Assistant Secretary and Director of the LDB Foundation. We are waiting for Leon to approve of our sending Ralph the resignation document. We sent Leon a draft cover letter about a month or so ago. He may prefer to speak to Ralph personally so we have held off on sending the letter. Eileen has reminded Leon about the issue a couple of times already. Heather has already asked Diana Wierbiki to return the foundation checkbook but Diana W. indicated that Ralph had it in his possession. The cover letter attaching the resignation asks Ralph to return the checkbook. We are waiting for instructions from Leon to move forward. In the meantime, Rich suggested calling the bank to cancel Ralph's signatory authority but until Ralph resigns, I don't think Rich has any legal basis to ask that and doubt the bank would do it. I also think this would cause the bank to call Ralph, and Leon may want to do that first.
