In fact the lamp does qualify as furniture. The following tiers apply for a designer discount if approved: Furniture or carpets have a minimum threshold of $40,000 with a discount of 15% Art de Vivre(home accessories) items have a minimum threshold of $7,000 with a discount of 15% La Table Hermes ( tabletop), St. Louis and, Puiforcat have a minimum threshold of $7000 with a discount of 20% Wallpaper and Fabric have a 35% discount with no threshold minimum The discount and threshold amounts are annual. If the designer discount is approved payment must be made by credit card in the Designer's name or a business check from the Designers firm. Please note all requirements needed in addition to the completed Hermes Trade Application which are notated on the bottom left hand corner of the Hermes Trade Application.
