With the exception of the Fountain grass, which we've previously discussed, all of the plants sent to you were in top condition when received on LSJ. I even flew over to inspect them when they were unloaded. The Jasmine and Gardenia's were both in bloom, healthy, full of foliage and very fragrant. When I made my last site visit on January 17, 2014, the plants were full of bugs (I know that your guys were unable to spray due to the winter winds), and little to no blooms. I recommended that the plants be treated with a Merit & Malathion application when winds permitted, and an application of Superbloom be made. Bugs=no blooms=no fragrance. It is my understanding after speaking with Daphne and Chris yesterday that the plants have been treated. I recommend that you wait until the plants come back around before replacing them.
