From: Richard Kahn To: Jeffrey Epstein <[email protected]> Subject: Brandon Date: Fri, 15 May 2015 14:50:59 +0000 is saturday departure with wednesday return ok for brandon and ban? please advise thank you Richard Kahn HBRK Associates Inc. 575 Lexington Avenue 4th Floor New York, NY 10022 tel fax cell Begin forwarded message: Date: May 14, 2015 at 8:53:59 PM EDT Subject: Project From: Brandon Thompson < To: Richard Kahn < Dear Richard, Today, I was washing the brushes, cleaning all lime-washes, preparing myself to go back home, as Mr. Epstein walked in. I showed him the sample ( I worked last night on it, trying to express the 18 c finish that would survive on the wall and how it could look like today after this long). We have to recall how the early 19 c house was operating. There was no AC and the heating was just from the fireplace. The color usually was eventually repainted and left alone for decades. The wood resin would sip through the paint leaving imperfections and imbedded dust on the surface. I think, I succeeded in my effort and showed it to Mr. Epstein. To my surprise he liked it. I also lime-washed the columns, what I called "bald". The covering the surface with lime-wash is the initial step for finishing them. We had short conversation and we further cleared future misunderstandings. He wants me to finish each column different, as when he was living with Pope John Paul the Second in Vatican, he looked at variety of different columns captured in wars. He told me that every Pope demanded to have a column from every concurred country, so there is a collection of different columns in Vatican. He also suggested to me, to take a break. I think, I would like to do this. The main reason for this is to re-fresh my eyes and have a relaxed "cool" look at the project after few days. From my experience it works well. He also suggested that I will come with Bart. I am not sure how long can he stay, but I would let you know a bit later. Mr. Epstein wants me to re-finish two Globe Stands, which Bart can assist me with stripping existing finish and I will continue with staining and finishing them. If you will be so kind and arrange my flight this coming Saturday and coming back following Wednesday with Bart? If you have any question or comment, please let me know. Warm regards, Brandon EFTA00669420 EFTA00669421
