From: David Mitchell To: Jeffrey Epstein Subject: FW: Great Plains Road property - Village Attorney Date: Tue, 11 Jul 2017 13:59:34 +0000 same background, DAVID MITCHELL Mitchell Holdings LLC 745 Fifth Avenue, 5th Floor New York NY 10151 From: Dominique Clark •,: > on behalf of Gil Flanagan Date: Monday, July 10, 2017 at 3:17 PM To: David Mitchell Subject: Great Plains Road property - Village Attorney David- In response to your email of July 5 which came in when I was on vacation, I would note that the new Village attorney is to be Wayne Bruyn, someone with whom I have worked closely on a number of occasions, who was also a former deputy Town Attorney and, before that, a staff advisor to the Southampton Town Planning Board. He also concentrates his current practice on real estate and land use, including zoning and planning, issues. He is someone in whom Richard DePetris, until recently the Village Attorney, myself, the deputy Village Attorney, and a number of others, including the former Mayor of the Village of Southampton, have a great deal of confidence. He is also someone who is approachable, and who has indicated to me that his goal is to maintain a continuity in how the Village interprets and administers its land use regulations. In my opinion, given the potential candidates, there is no one better. The new Village administration was officially sworn in last week, and Mr. Bruyn should now be assuming his role as Village Attorney. Given the fact that he has to bring himself up to speed on a number of issues which were already pending, my suggestion would be that I arrange to meet with him sometime within the next two weeks to lay out the general parameters of your situation, and the possible uses of the existing house on the parcel. Given the circumstances, the most likely time might be sometime next week. I will see what I can set up with him, and will then get back to you. I am virtually certain that I will get a reasonable and thoughtful audience, and response. Gilbert G. Flanagan, Esq.
