"Façade Chalgrin" = rue Chalgrin — all windows from the kitchen and the new apartment. The architect recommends that someone be present in the apartment during working hours from the beginning of October through the end of December. The architect does not think that removal of curtains behind and around the bay windows is necessary. She recommends that (i) curtains be tied up away from the walls/windows in the rooms when works take place outside and (ii) only decorations, items, paintings are removed. She suggests that protection be put on some of the windows and said she can make (in coordination with us) appropriate arrangements therefor. She will be informing us of the precise work schedule. Shutters are expected to be removed for repair around mid November for a few days. Strong noise is to be expected from the beginning of October through the end of November on avenue Foch and mid December through mid January on me Chalgrin (corresponding to the "repair" period). I shall be attending a new meeting at 22 avenue Foch with HELLIER DU VERNEUIL and the architect on Tuesday (September 20) in the morning (9:00 am). I will collect the mail and hope to get the quotes for the windows. Best regards. Removal of decorations, items, paintings, curtains behind and around the bay windows during the period that the works are taking place. Is there a contractor to do this? 3.
