From: Brian Armstrong < Date: July I, 2015 at 7:02:28 PM PDT To: <1 Subject: Coinbase Investor Newsletter Dear investors, Here are our stats for the prior month: • 3M consumer wallets • 40k merchants • 7k developer apps Summary of the past month: • We launched our instant exchange feature, which lets wallet holders use their local currency while still sending/receive to the bitcoin network • Announced that Reinventure (the VC arm of Westpac bank, the largest bank in Australia) participated in our Series C fundraise (late arrival) • We saw a 300% increase in bitcoin buys in the Eurozone with Greek bank accounts being frozen (we also dropped fees to zero this week for people buying bitcoin with Euros) • Our Android app got featured in the Google Play store, after quite a bit of work with Google • We added Vermont to the list of states where our Exchange can operate, along with all US Territories (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Marianas, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands) • We had to turn off the ability the buy/sell bitcoin in the state of Wyoming after communicating with regulators there • Made a few key hires around a PM for Exchange, and an engineer to work on fraud prevention Until next month!
