Quick update on Steve's online education fund is that they raised $3mm and are off creating some initial coursework now with USC. I write to you for a different reason altogether. I will make the "pitch" quickly. I was raised in a pretty agnostic Jewish household (British mother who came here sponsored by Chaim Weitzman) and Brooklyn father who was not a believer. In my old age, I've become pretty observant...and keep the sabbath now. If I had to sum it up in a sentence, the more I study about our faith, the more I feel I'm getting closer to the truth. So... We started a synagogue with a South African rabbi and have grown it to over 200 people in three years. We've identified a building on the UWS.
