Technology and professors from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem are receiving high-
profile press coverage. Just today, Intel announced it will buy Mobileye, the collision
avoidance company based on technology developed by Hebrew University Sachs Professor
of Computer Science Amnon Shashua. Numerous news outlets covered the story including
The New York Times, Fortune, Financial Times and Techcrunch.
Professor Shashua also jointly founded Orcam, which provides aid to the visually
impaired. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) mentioned Orcam's new product in an article
discussing wearable technology. The WSJ also mentioned Hebrew University Professor
Dan Galai in an article about the stock market Volatility Index.
