He said that he had no marching orders regarding Bill's participation in the Blue Talon investment. He said that he understands that his "team" wants to "support" Boris, but had not made any decisions about how and in what form that support would be. He simply wanted to find out what was being proposed, so that he could convey that back to his team. I conveyed the deal simply as you described (50/50 with a 25% carry to Boris). Rodi told me that he was not saying no; just that he had no orders as to whether or how his "team" was going to participate.
