I also spoke to Oriol and their legal counsel after the vote and they said they have discussed the process and decided this does not need to go back to the Governor for his signature. They are going to send it directly to the legislature's committee that held the hearing for them to proceed. I will find out from Senator Hill's office what the schedule is after I give them a little time to get this written up and delivered. There was collateral good news at the hearing when one of the committee members asked Oriol when they had last inspected for compliance with all CZM requirements, and he said they had done so just last week I believe and all was in order. They had a few more questions along this line and he said they had gone out 4 times over the last month or so and were monitoring the work to insure compliance, finding all was well. I thought this was very positive since I had heard a second hand report a few months ago that they were issuing a stop work order.
