Yes, I was surprised to be invited myself, but Wim Kayser, the Dutchman who organized it all, was very keen on
my ideas and really wanted me to be part of it. The program was a huge success in Holland - and also on PBS in
the US. I dont know if you watched the section on homing pigeons, but led to my doing an experiment on
homing pigeons on the main research ship of the Royal Dutch Navy!
