My life took a very unexpected turn two years ago when my then 13-month-old son, Calvin, was diagnosed with a very rare and severe neurodevelopmental disease called Pitt Hopkins. I can't believe it's nearly been two years! We have come along way since then, but at the same time when I say two years, I guess I feel like we should be so much further. It has been a tough time for my family, but we are constantly buoyed by the kindness of friends and generous strangers devoted to making the world a more decent place-- like you.
