In the shortness of the time I may not have given a clear answer to your query as to my opinion on good ways for your cohort to support science. Here is a concise version I. My main scientific activity is running a group working on the black hole information paradox. Lany Summers raised 7 million to support us about 12 years ago. That money will be fully spent down this coming January 1. We need about 500K per year. If you know someone who might be interested in funding this, please let me know. I believe there is no higher impact per dollar way to spend money on science. 2. I am also involved - still in the planning stage - an interdisciplinary Black Hole Center with Avi Loeb, Peter Galison, Ramesh Narayan and the head of the Event Horizon Telescope Shep Doeleman. This will be unique in the world and needs a 50 million endowment. 3.
