From: "Farkas, Andrew L." To: Florida Science Foundation <[email protected]> Subject: Fw: St. Maarten / USVI - Update Date: Wed, 06 Sep 2017 21:56:39 +0000 Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone. From: Mukamal, Thomas < Sent Wednesday, September 6, 2017 5:52 PM To: Garrison, Rank; Farkas, Andrew L. Subject: St Maarten / USVI - Update Updates: SXM Lots of photos coming in. This site had some that seem to include Simpson Bay and IDS. Island looks trashed but what I can glean from the images here of SBM and a few of IDS — I think we are in decent shape. No reports of injuries to anyone on our team as of yet. https://tonybrewer.smugmug.conVIRMA-AFTERMATFI/i-dbsZP4D/A USVI AYH buildings held up we are told preliminarily. Also, we think damage to 3 of the 5 dock systems but not visibly bad. We will have people out when the storm is over. YHG so far damage seems cosmetic, sunken boats, fencing and debris. Still very early. This message, and any attachments hereto, is confidential and intended exclusively for the use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed.
