Our workshop on 5th and 6th April 2017 will be designed both for beginners and for those who attended the February half-term and October course last year and would like to build on what they learned. In small groups that will match their age and experience, students will be able to practise their public-speaking skills and expand their knowledge of the big issues of the day. They will learn from our team of experts how to craft a logical argument and win over an audience; and they will also be taught the all-important skill of listening to the case made by others and responding. The course culminates in a grand debate finale when the students will be able to put their newfound skills to the test.
