As our SALSS 2014 keynote speaker, nobel laureate Dr. Peter Agre points out, there should be many more scientists in our government and although Diana is a lawyer by training, she has taken several important life science issues to her heart, including the legislation on stem cell research. She has been a very popular guest at SALSS and Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm and has become a role model for many of our young Best & Brightest women, both in Sweden and here in New York.
