RE:
State of Florida v. Jeffrey Epstein
Case No. 2008CF009381A
Dear Judge Colbath,
This firm was selected by the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of
Florida to represent the victims that formed the bases of the criminal prosecution of Jeffrey
Epstein.
As this court is aware from hearings in this case, the United States Attorney's Office for the
Southern District of Florida entered into an agreement with Mr. Epstein to defer any further
prosecution if he complied with the terms of this agreement.
This non-prosecution agreement called for and resulted in a plea agreement in state court.
It is our understanding that Mr. Epstein is within seventy five days of completing the
criminal sanctions imposed as part of that plea agreement. It is further our understanding
that Mr. Epstein has filed a motion to terminate his supervision on a successful basis.
In addition to the criminal sanctions, the aforementioned non-prosecution agreement also
called for Mr. Epstein to comply with several conditions relating to civil litigation involving
the victims. As I have indicated, I was the attorney chosen by the Government to represent
the victims in these matters. With the exception of attorney's fees which are still being
negotiated, Mr. Epstein has complied not only with the express terms of the non-
prosecution agreement, but also with the spirit of the agreement in relation to the victims
in this case for which Your Honor has jurisdiction.

If you should have any questions regarding Mr. Epstein's compliance with the terms of the
non-prosecution agreement, please feel free to contact me.
Very truly yours,
Robert C. Josefsberg
