Proposed Licensed Replacement Link for Zorro Ranch
Albuquer ue NM 87123
Phone:
Fax:
The microwave link proposed for Zorro Ranch to replace the existing unlicensed Adtran
2.4 Ghz Link, will support the current T-1 configuration that delivers the carrier services
for data and voice. The Exalt microwave equipment interface will support up to 4 each T-
1 Lines in addition to a GigE Port for Ethernet connectivity at a later date. The equipment
was selected to provide the dual support that would be necessary to support both Ti and
Ethernet connectivity concurrently for changes services at a later date to MPLS or DSL.
The current quote provides for both types of interfacing.
The quotes have been updated to reflect the changes resulting by installing the 5.8 Ghz
Alvarion system to replace the out dated 2.4 Ghz equipment that was damaged by
lightening damage earlier this year. There were a couple of changes that were made to
address the delivery of WiFi to the Bunkhouse area and the overall capacity of the
wireless delivery system for voice and data. The proposed system will still provide the
capacity for all of the required voice and data services proposed in an IP environment.
