It was a terrible afternoon until I heard from Erik when he landed this afternoon. He was excited that he sold two paintings. One to Sir NOrman Rosenthal (who invited him and the other young NY painter) to his home for tea and to view his art collection. Erik thought it was kind of funny that he was openly gay and also married with a daughter (and that he owns Manets as well as a Lindman). The other painting was bought by someone in the Rose family. I'm so happy that his work is getting appreciated. I'll keep you up to date about the apt. as things progress.
