These are amazing events and I understand what I'm working for: all these amazing kids who eventually will come. These weekends are exhausting, but so much fun! Day 3 of Candidate Weekend and the physical appearance has dramatically deteriorated for most. Last night on my Hospitality room shift I sent back strawberry smoothie three times and I think James, our 24 hour butler spit in the last batch. He's probably wondering where Human Rights Watch is just about now. The camel festival is kick-starting with beauty contest for camels! I went to Dubai and it's so weird to drive through some 200 skycrapers, supermodem, and totally empty (see pies). Then I figured out where all the left-over expats were: the new mega-huge Dubai Mall.
