The downside is that it's AED 10,000 too expensive and a bit far from campus. However, since it's so dam hard to find a decent studio and that it's not easy apt hunting on I took it. It is celebrated with honking SUVs driving up and down the Comiche with the late Sheikh and current Sheikh's faces plastered on the hoods and kids hanging out the car-windows spraying foam at nearby SUVs, and spectacular, over-the-top fireworks at Emirates Palace. IKEA Due tom m colleague pushed me around at IKEA The funny thing is that when you're people think something's wrong with your head! The sales people were only addressing my colleague even though I was the one buying the furniture! My boss helped me move. I didn't mention to him that my new apt was in a 3-story walk-up...
