My boy,
If you have a minute please take a look at the attachment. OBD is a JV biotech company between Oxford university and
private sector investors. Oxford has copied Harvard and Yale and has set up a company named Isis to commercialise
promising science coming out o the university labs. Around 12 years ago Oxford and George Soros joined forces to bring a
team of scientists out of Russia who were working in the field of epigenetics and gene expression. Two years ago OBD
was formed to bring the technology to commercialisation.Because of the very wide application over a number of disease
indications for this particular science OBD has been forming JVs to on a disease by disease basis. two of the category
killers as such are breast and prostate cancers and obviously the USA presents itself as the most likely forum. Do you
know of any foundations or organizations who might be interested in looking at working with OBD on its diagnostic test kits
for these two diseases (the first test has already recd EU approval) the potential market world wide for these two alone is of
course huge which is why Oxford are so excited by this particular area.
Any thoughts ideas very gratefully recd. What are you doing yourself these days?
Nick
