FYI - some reading related to your insightful questions about ligand-binding PET...the one
most relevant to our discussion about dopamine (DA) is the one on amphetamine-evoked changes
in cortical D2-receptor labeling with 11C-FLB. (Unfortunately, they didn't obtain magnitude
estimates of euphoria in combination with PET, but previous studies have documented the
correlation between amphetamine injeciton and 'pleasure' responses.)...the novelty-seeking
study is provocative re: DA and creativity...
