ALAISS, FREER OF LIVES • INVESTOR BOOK • 2017
INTRODUCTION
Philippe Villette, publisher and owner of the AlaIss's rights as independent producer, in
collaboration with Nu Boyana Films Studios in Sofia, a Millennium's company, and The
Director of The Warner Bros Studios plan to make the feature film: Alaiss, freer of
Lives.
Based on the acclaimed novel written by Geny Laffitte, the film is a supernatural
thriller set in modern day Paris.
The filmography of recent years proves that the best cinematic achievements and
successes are always adapted from a novel. The following journalists: Yannick Petit,
Romain Hermant, Didier Rougeyron, Anita Buttez, Cathy Durviaux and Iris Jimenez
confirm that we have an excellent book, a new genus and a story never read, a filmic
book!
This novel is the first in a saga of five books written by Geny Laffitte. Our idea is to
launch the first movie: Alaiss, freer of lives.
The script is adapted from the novel by screenwriters Golan Ramras, Adam Sherer,
Margrit Franic and the author Geny Laffitte.
Film's Budget: USD 45 million.

PREMISE
Genre: Supernatural Thriller
Logline: The story takes place in Paris (France). Alaiss, a young translator and
psychology student with supernatural powers, will find herself in a police investigation,
fight a mafia group and become Profiler.
Storyline: Alaiss has exceptional gifts: mediumship, telekinesis, ubiquity... But she
chooses to live in complete discretion trying to understand who she really is, having
little memory of her past. But destiny would decide otherwise... Her best friend, NoeIle,
embarks her on a quest to try to understand the disappearance of her husband, Peter, a
private detective. Alaiss has no other choice to reveal her power and admit that she
sees him dead. What was he investigating? Who assassinated him? NoeIle is suspected
and Alaiss launches an investigation. She will meet the best friend of Peter, Nicolas a
painting artist and the grumpy inspector Matthew.
Alaiss research will not be easy, but she can count on her friend The Bleu Being, coming
from another world. With their powers, she can travel using the rain or read the past in
the people. Nicolas will fall under the charm of Alaiss, so beautiful and something of a
magician... Just as Alaiss feels an attraction being born in her towards the painter. The
investigations of Alaiss and Nicolas lead them to discover a young Chinese girl, Sue-Jin,
who is escaped from an underground sewing shop where she was forced to sew. They
discover that she was imprisoned with many foreign workers in a group of traffickers.
Alaiss will hide and protect her. She will decide to stop this gang, but first with her
friends, she wants to find proofs of these group activities. She will be introduced into a
warehouse and be captured. Prisoner in turn, Alaiss will find with her gifts how to
escape and with telepathy bring to her the inspector. She will understand that Peter
followed this Chinese girl who sometimes escapes from prison and that he would reveal
the existence of this gang. For this reason, Peter was killed.
Amazed by the qualities of Alaiss and her powers, the inspector Matthew will accept her
and both untangle a jewelry robbery. He will accept her help to capture the leader of
this gang in his hiding. The confrontation between Alaiss and the leader will be terrible.
Surprised by her powers, he wants to know her secrets, buying them, but will capitulate.
Alaiss is stronger than him and his guns. During the investigation, Alaiss will reveal to her
friends the reality of her world: the blue world. In this other invisible world, she will
meet her mother and find answers to her questions and her past. She comes from
another dimension where reigns only love and compassion. Alaiss will use this love with
force and as a weapon.
In Paris, happy with the result of this investigation, Matthew and his superior offer to
Alaiss one post as a profiler-negotiator. Mess adventures begin...

chapter." The character
COMMENTS OF THE NOVEL
Geny Laffitte has a delicate pen, dragging the words, like a block of ice that
runs a small patch of skin: smooth, very fresh, it feels great that nevertheless
gives us chills ... I found that this comparison clearly defines the reading I have
done "Alaiss, freer of lives."
I loved this trip between the spirit world and the living, the communion
between these two worlds...
In the style of presentation of the book, I
appreciated the fact that it is written so airy,
readable, large print. The presentation in short
chapters (shown in one word each time) in makes
reading rhythm ... it takes the reader on an
"intellectual dance" chapter by chapter, small
step after small step ... Each short chapter
providing a novelty, a rebound, a new element ...
This also allows to easily pause without saying
"damn, U
going to be lost to resume playing
of Alaiss surprisingly enough ... so it has some "gifts",
which sometimes leads to situations more specific ...
"She decided to go to the morgue" read "by Peter. Meeting the data recorded on
the subconscious level of his past. "(Page 17) The fragility that can sometimes
present contrasts well with her determination and dedication to others ...
I loved her great sense of empathy, compassion ... It has made touching to me, I
found no difficulty to take sympathy. This is a book bringing a new kind of writing
ever read successfully. I loved it!

Alaiss, la delivreuse de vie de Geny Laffitte
A first novel by Geny Laffitte takes us into the world of her heroine Alaiss. A
world of courage, struggle to defend life and liberty. A world in which she travels
between the worlds of the living and the spirits. Police intrigue, suspicion fiction
pages sentimental bits of supernatural and spiritual clouds are there. A beautiful
novel that I recommend, pleasant writing, light, exciting and rhythmic story!

Guide de la bonne lecture
An excellent novel, full of emotion, strolled a detective story to reflect on life,
death, love. It reads like a movie, the story is punctuated the pleasant writing
captivating there ... then this other world, that of transparency in which the
