Attorney Fee and Cost Schedule Dear Mr. Indyke: Pursuant to our discussion wishes to retain my law firm. For your client's review, we bill as follows per attorney and paralegal hour: Partner - Jeffrey S. Pop: $800.00 per hour Associate Attorneys: $400.00 per hour Paralegal: $250.00 per hour Law Clerk: $125.00 per hour My firm bills travel expenses as incurred. The time spent traveling is billed at half rate for any of the professionals involved in the travel. Pursuant to our discussion, my office is willing to discuss in advance an estimate of charges for tasks. If you wish for us to estimate those costs in advance, we can prepare a monthly budget but this adds expense and can be changed by unanticipated litigation developments. In so much as this case involves potentially a significant amount of attorney time, I request a twenty five thousand dollar ($25,000.00) retainer, which we would put in my Client's Trust Account, as we bill against it which will reduce the retainer and the amount is expected to be replenished within fifteen (15) days of billing.
