With a bleached white oak species, you may want to consider a softer look, using a satin lacquer — which would shave a week or so off the 12 weeks. Although it is old and wom, this is very close to a 'whitewashed" white oak. Notice the the grayish tone of the grain on the lid (that conceals the switch panel and phone). Bleached white oak samples will vary greatly depndent upon customer preference — some time with a tan / grayish tone with some white highlights in the grain. ERIC H.
