From: Lawrence Krauss To: "jeffrey E." <[email protected]> Subject: Fwd: OEI Interview Date: Sun, 15 Apr 2018 19:21:02 +0000 Attachments: ICrauss,Additional_Infonnation.pdf Inline-Images: image002.png; image001jpg OK.. sending this to you.. it followed on a very good email from Justin explaining to her that she was violating the new white house rules by not giving us information and also requiring the interview to be delayed till April 24 or 25th.. I could send you the earlier emails but in the end we got this.. Justin emailed that he has been having back and forth with General Counsel this past week, which is why he thinks she released this info. And he is talking to GC on Monday too.. anyway, so here are the things they are investigating.. a bunch of things of course that I know nothing about.. and it looks like a few of the buzzfeed things but not all.. Just to bring you up to date. Could be better, but could be much worse.. there are some things here that are simply laughable.. I will be going down alone I think, with Justin listening on the phone.. but that is not yet decided.. I just bought plane tickets for me yesterday as prices were rising. Sony to hear about Noam's kids.. I really don't see Valeria as a spendthrift.. they are having chickens for eggs, Noam has a lovely vegetable garden, and they have solar power, so it sounds pretty self-sufficient to me. As noted in your administrative leave memo from Dean Kenney, you are to remain available to meet with OEI upon reasonable notice, when requested. OEI first contacted you on March 26, 2018 to schedule your interview. At that time, you indicated that you would not be available to meet in person until April 9th or 10th. We accommodated your schedule, thereby delaying the interview until April 10th. On April 5th, you inquired about the possibility of bringing a "support person" to the meeting. We agreed to that request. On April 6th, we received notice from your support person, a legal advisor, that you were canceling the meeting on April 10th so that your legal advisor would have sufficient time to review this matter. I agreed to delay the interview by one week (April 18 or 19th). You are now requesting to delay the interview even further to April 24th or 25th. Although you are obligated to remain available for this interview and we have provided you with more than reasonable notice, I am nevertheless granting your request. You are expected to be at our office (details below) on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 10:00 M . to 2:00 M. As you are already aware, your legal advisor may be present during the interview, but he may not participate in any way. If the legal advisor fails to comply, he will be asked to leave the interview. You have requested more detailed information to prepare for your interview. The information that you currently have is sufficient for purposes of your upcoming interview. In an effort to move this process forward without further delay, I am providing you with additional information. Pleasesee attached. OEI is located in the University Center, Building A, 1100 E University Drive, Tempe (approximately two blocks east of Rural Road; north side of University; single story, red brick building). We are housed in the Office of Human Resources. The entrance is located on the east side of the building. You may use the following parking code in lieu of paying: 39291824. You will be prompted for the number of the spot you parked in, so note that before walking away. When you arrive, please check in at the desk in the lobby and they will let us know you are here. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Erin R. Ellison, E. Director, Office of Equity & Inclusion EFTA00832520
