The estimate did not include painting. The quote to paint both offices is $750. We have an additional bill of $1,410 for the work done in the kitchen (lowering the ceiling level and replacing the tiles with green board to absorb moisture). Please let me know whether we can go ahead and have them paint and pay them for the labor and materials for the kitchen. The total for the painting and the kitchen work is $2,160. Additionally, the contractor gave me a quote of $1,750 to replace the 376 sq ft of ceiling tiles in the hallway leading from the kitchen to your office. He would replace the tiles with the green board to also absorb the moisture and also match the tiles in the offices and the kitchen. Let me know if you want to proceed with this part.
