I am not sure that Anna presented this correctly on the contractor request to be paid for hours worked after 8 hours. Please allow me to clarify the situation going on with the contractors as they are upset with Anna and now possibly me: I. On weeks you are here they work 10 hours instead of the normal 8hrs/day rate I. The contractors are only paid for 8 hrs for a day rate, leaving two hours of unpaid working hours each day when they work for 10 hours when you are here at LSJ 2. The contractors do not get paid for quiet time as LSJ staff does 3. If they do not get paid for the hours owed we will loose them or we will have to make separate boat trips at 4pm I. There is a fuel and wear & tear cost associated with this 2. I think it only fair to take the additional hours worked each week after 8, total up and pay them their hourly rate (day rate divide by 8hrs) Mr. Epstein, I will respect your final decision in this sensitive mater.
