Subject: Visa question
Date: Tue, 27 Mar 2018 14:36:54 +0000
Hi Sneaky,
Called the lawyer this morning. She is not available at the moment to take any new case or even just to consult...
My main concern was that my visa and my work authorization are expiring in July 14th, which means my
contract with IPI will be terminated so my question was to the lawyer whether under my current pending status, I
am still in the country legally and eligible to apply/extend my EAD?
So I searched and found this link
http://i slaw fi rm.corn/immigration-law/maintaining-f- I -nonimmigrant-status-asylum-process/
It says after the visa expiration, I will be under "lawful presence" yet will not have options in case if they
deny/reject our petition so I think I must maintain my lawful status despite the pending petition...
Do you think I could talk to Terje and try to apply for HI B visa? they say that they only sponsor working visas
for professionals like policy analysts and above but it's all about money...I asked the other day how much it costs
they say around 6K. What are your thoughts sneaky? I don't like or trust Arda but maybe I should see him just
regarding these questions?
