Today he called me again to clarify his position, which you will be pleased to know, resonates with your own. he said I should get legal advice, but absolutely not have a lawyer represent me in the University proceedings.. for much the same reasons as you indicated. Lowell has represented people in similar circumstances.. and he said what he tells his clients to say is that "I have talked to lawyers about representation and they all say the same thing: You don't need me"..
