Note that they are only available in black. I spoke to Lyle and he says that since they have done some updates they will in fact operate more closely to the digital phones than I thought. However they require a network connection to the phone system and I am not sure there is adequate wiring in all locations that you would want these phones. I did ask Tom about the Dining Rm specifically and Pat replied and said that there are some locations in the dining rm. that were rewired in 2006 that could be made into network jacks so that could work. We will have to look at each location on a case by case basis. I would suggest we start with a minimal number and let Mr. Epstein determine if he likes the NT400 or not. These phones are IP which requires a license with the license each phone is approximately $850. Also the phone requires power which is either supplied by a Power over Ethernet switch or a local transformer by the phone which is about $75. Of course we will need to allow for network ports for these phones as well (Whether POE or not) so that is an additional cost consideration. Obviously there would also be some cost involved in feeding the camera picture to the phone system. Thank You, Steve ; tc id: image001.jpggOICE0497 .66729080 rib.. teve Bisby 1300 N. Please note: 1) Tom said there are 10-15 incoming lines plus 2 intercom stations. If in fact there are a total of 17 we will need to provide an additional CO card to accommodate the 17th line. 2) We counted the extensions on the list provided by Tom that appeared to have phones to come up with 79 phones; you may want to adjust this number. 3) We may need to adjust the labor (Programming) depending on further information we get from Tom and how much fine tuning is required. Let me know what you think and if we are on the right track I will follow up with Tom as far as further information we need and how exactly we are going to accomplish the install and final programming.
